Physical Description
Slender, elongated body with a prominent, wide head distinct from the neck. Coloration features a dark brown to tan dorsal ground color with dark brown/black blotches or crossbands along the body. A distinctive light-colored (white to yellowish) nape collar ring is clearly visible behind the head, while the head itself remains dark.
Size & Dimensions
This specimen appears to be a juvenile measuring approximately 15–25 cm in total length. Adults of similar dipsadine species typically range from 40 to 75 cm.
Habitat
Arboreal and terrestrial microhabitats in tropical rainforests, cloud forests, lowlands, and suburban leaf litter or gardens.
